Great to hear some sincere praise for the NHS - There definitely are some problems in some sectors of it , but as you say no doubt far more positive or neutral experiences of it than downright negative ones .

Thanks for the sympathy, I appreciate it. Things have actually become slightly better with my father, but my own situation hasn't changed - I still have to take care of myself as well as him.

I already have a beard and long hair, which spent the entire four days plaited into a French braid on the insistence of a drunken friend. She also insisted that people put daisies in it, so I blended in fairly nicely with the rest of the crowd. I went to Cropredy many years ago when I lived in Oxford. Great fun, and I don't like much folk either. Fairport Convention are always good though - they had Robert Plant singing with them when I was there!
